Triplets and their older sister

When I was asked to photograph the family of triplets and their older sister, I was so excited...

I know from experience that some children love the studio environment, where there are nearly no rules, so they can run around and be as excited as they like. But unfortunately there are some children who simply do not like the unfamiliar surroundings of a studio and the triplets and their sister just were not comfortable.

But thats ok, I decided it might be better to try and photograph them in their home where they are comfortable. It started off similar to the studio experience but they eventually warmed to the camera and me...so much so I nearly gained a son...lol

All in all, its these experiences that make me love my photography job...the triplets were adorable and have the most interesting personalities and the older sister...Simran, well she does a good job of looking after them and being adorable herself.

Birthdays and Photobooth

Hi All

Well it has been a busy two weeks.

The photobooth had its official debut at Jiya's 1st birthday party, and was a huge success and even generated more bookings.

There were a few hiccups, but it made a good learning process and has ironed out some minor issues.

Everyone had a good laugh and the photos are 'amusing'...take a look yourself below.

We like change!

Its been a while I know.

But things have changed!

Well firstly we have a new website, which is always exciting for me. There is a login area now, where clients can get their friends and family to login and purchase photos if they wish.

Secondly we are no longer in the Jewellery Quarter, but we are still just outside the Birmingham City Centre, with bigger and better studio, with separate viewing room and separate changing rooms.

Don't worry for those of you who are promised a second shoot this year, its not too late. I have extended the offer to next year. With all the changes its been difficult fitting everyone in, so thought it would be nice to have something to look forward to in the New Year.

Easter Success

Hey all

It was great to see so many people on Saturday for our Easter Open Day, we had a fun day and met lots of lovely cute kids.

I will be busy getting all the pictures sorted for the Free gifts now and organising our new product range!

I will post some of the pictures here , but also will be adding them to the website so keep an eye out.

Easter Kids Photography Open Day

Hi All

Finally managed to organise the Open Day for Easter.

Saturday 3rd April 2010 at our lovely studios
10-30am - 3pm

No need to book an appointment just come along and have a 'taster' photography session.

Dress your kids in an Easter themed outfit and get a FREE 10 x 8 photo print.

Also we are going to be launching our new product range very soon so keep an eye for that.

Easter

Hi All

Sorry I haven't posted any news for so long, been really busy since moving to the new studio.

I am the authorised Emmas Diary photographer for a lot of Birmingham, so that has kept me on my toes.

Well I thought Easter is coming up and that is a great excuse to dress the little kiddies up in cute outfits and get some pictures taken of them.
So we are having an Open Day soon where you can come along with your babies and toddlers all dressed up and have a taster session. No need to make an appointment just come along.
